Remember when Sony sold off its VAIO brand? Well, ever since then we've been hearing certain rumors through the grapevine, most of which claimed that Japan Industrial Partners, the buyer of the brand, is intending to launch its own line of devices, including smartphones, bearing the VAIO name.
It seems that a few VAIO phones have just popped up in benchmarks, giving us a sneak peek at some of the probable specs.
One of them, which is pinned to be announced on March 12, seemingly comes with a 64-bit Snapdragon 410 MSM8916 chipset, humming at 1.2GHz.
We also have 2GB of RAM on board, 16GB of native storage, a 5-inch 720p display, a 13MP camera at the back, and a 5MP one right up front. The device is powered by Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Expect additional information about this phone once March 12 nears.
