Aside from Samsung's much-anticipated Galaxy S7 smartphone, LG's upcoming G5 is another flagship device that has been the subject of several rumors and leaks until now. While were sure that the G5 is coming this MWC, LG has now officially confirmed its unveiling date.
The South Korean company has confirmed through its social media channels that the successor to last year's G4 will be unveiled on February 21, i.e, a day before this year's Mobile World Congress officially kicks off.
Interestingly, the Galaxy S7 is also set be unveiled on the same day. Just in case you missed, an LG executive said in an interview last month that the company "is ready to take on Samsung" this year.
