    Update summary

On June 10, 2014, a software update for the Nokia Lumia 2520 Windows RT 8.1 tablet will begin rolling out via the Windows update process. The update is approximately 48.1MB in size.

    What's changing?

This update includes the following Operating System updates:
    • International roaming experience enhancements
    • Display performance improvements
    • Wakeup from sleep mode improvements
What to expect after the update

Although there should be no impacts to settings or data, we recommend that you back up your media files to a PC, or by using a favorite application, prior to upgrading the software. You wont be able to use your tablet while the update installs.

    How to update

Starting on June 10, 2014, this software update will begin downloading and installing to tablets. The Nokia Lumia 2520 is shipped with settings that automatically install Windows updates when connected to a Wi-Fi network, so no customer interaction should be required. Once the download completes, you will be prompted to accept Windows Update and restart the tablet. Wi-Fi downloads to not count against your data package.

Updates can also be set to download over the mobile network, which would count against your data package.

    How to verify the update

From the Start screen, swipe in from the side of the screen, and then tap Settings >Change PC Settings> Update and Recovery >View your update history, and then look for "System firmware update".
