Rejoice! Android 5.0 Lollipop is now rolling out to Galaxy S5 (SM-G900W8) all across Canada, including users on Bell, Rogers, TELUS, Koodo, WIND Mobile and other networks. Bell has confirmed about the update through its Twitter account, however other operators haven’t confirmed it as of now.

The firmware G900W8VLU1BOB3 is now rolling out as an OTA update, and if you’re someone from Canada, you might receive it shortly. Be sure to check for the update by going to Menu >> Settings >> About device >> Software update >> Update. You can also update your device through KIES or manually flash the firmware by downloading the update file from our firmware section.

Android Lollipop brings Material UI design, redesigned notifications area, notifications on lockscreen, new multitasking menu, attractive animation effects, improved performance and security as well as many other small improvements. Let us know if you’ve received the update and the name of your carrier.
